Time: Beginning 1st watch - Mid 2nd watch

You are awoken by the sounds of Gelda and Shella moving about the hall. The rain has stopped some time last night, however, the wind continues to blow fiercely. Nolomar crests the mountains to the east lighting the clear blue sky above.

"I shall bring you a meal soon" Gelda says to no one in particular as she finishes her chores about the hall.

Algared nods as he gets up, and heads outside. He heads up to the Wizard's rise and settles down to meditate and clear his head.

Barak dresses and joins the others at the table to break his fast. "Hopefully there will be some cold pork to go with porridge today" he thinks to himself. Once breakfasted he sets about sorting out his muddy equipment and clothes from the day before, whilst waiting for Algared's news from Cunate.

Bjarni likewise performs his ablutions and then sits to eat with the others.

"Lets hope we are not kept waiting all day"

Returning from his meditation and study of the Pvaric arts both as ameans to further his ability and to help him calm and clear his head Algared breaks his fast if he is not to late. He collects his clothes and grooming kit and scrubs himself clean and then dries off and combs his hair and beard before dressing in clean clothes. He will set gear that requires cleaning or repair aside to work on later in the day and an approapriate timne will head towards the Thranhold in order to seek out the Storzar regarding the contents of the parchments and inquire about vessels that may be available from him as investment options and then seek a private audience with Cunate.

Time: End 2nd watch

Dressing quickly Algared leaves the meadhall and heads out to meditate. Meanwhile about the hall there is good cheer, Gelda seems to be always smiling this morning as she goes about her chores.

Seated about the fire you are served a warm porridge with honey, bread and cheese and a handful of dried fruits.

By the time Algared has returned the morning meal has well and truely been cleaned up and there is only a few morsels of fruit left to be eaten.

Taking what is on offer Algared chews the few pieces left before attending to his other chores before leaving the hall once again.

Once Barak has completed his cleaning and mending, he will give his kit a check over [OoC: Neil is there anything that needs replacing?].

While the rest of the warband are checking through their gear and making minor repairs and adjustments as made necessary from the last few days in the wilds, ALgared returns to the hall.

After stopping to gather a tankard of ale he too takes a seat and begins to sort through his gear.

Bjarni looks over to Algared and asks "Well? Don't keep us in suspense."

"You're an impatient bugger arent you? When we are Valhakers people will jump when we blink. Until then I'll wait.

While chatting amiably in the hall as you each go about cleaning, maintaining and repairing your gear a young lad enters the hall and looking about seeks out Jabor. Finding Jabor near the rear of the hall the young man makes his way past your warband nodding in greeting as he does so.

The lad speaks briefly with Jabor before leaving the hall and once again the youth nods his head to your group as he passes.

Jabor makes his way towards your group and says "Barak, Svardkell, Borygg, Bryndis and Bjarni we have been invited to attend a feast to be hosted by the Daas tomorrow evening"

"I've nothing to wear." says Barak "Even my best tunic has now is not as good as it once was. The Daas will have to put up with me as I really am, battle and trek worn." Barak thinks for a while "Is Algared not invited then?".

After finishing repairs to her equipment, at the news of Jabor Bryndis will begin to make any needed repairs to her "good clothes" so that she can be presentable.

Borygg does the same. After cleaning and tending to his weapons and armour (and other crucial equipment), he'll sort through his few belongings and find the most presentable clothing for the feast, cleaning and making repairs as best as he can.

Jabor says to Barak but hinting to everyone "Well you know their is a clothier in Orebro you could be there and back before night fall!"

"I have become poor is the service of the Daas, despite his fine meals. I will go in what I wear." Bjarni will go and give it a good wash though.

Bjarni you are a not poor you great oath. I'm sick to death of your belly aching and moaning just as much as i'm sure Borryg is as frustrated with my sense of Ljarl.

I ensured your eating utensils were replaced after your gear was burned in the raid, You have a great Bear skin from the spoils of war and a mail Hauberk cloak and you have earned several hundred dram weight in gold or silver which you havent had to spend on food or shelter. Now you will even if for the sake of the honour this company or at least for your clan make sure you present yourself as best as you can. And if you are that fucking hard up and still need a blanket here have this." Algared stands and tosses his warm blanket at the whale. "Now for once stop complaining and moaning and act with a little honour"

"My silver has been earned with my blood, and that of half a dozen of the enemy, and what there is has been spoken for. The mail, if I remember right, was a gift from someone other than Cunate, and the bearskin replaces my sea-chest, lost clothes and my sealskin sleeping bag." Bjarni will examine the blanket and toss it back to Algared saying "You need this more than me. And I go as I am"

Catching the blanket that Bjarni tosses back Algared refolds it before placing it in his chest. "Yes we have all lost something, but I still wager you are not poorer than you were when you arrived in Ygesdram and are in fact a lot richer... as are we all with coin and each others company, even if our individual quirks drive each other nuts at times." Despite an obvious down turn in his demeanor, which he tries to hide, having been excluded from the feast invite is certainly playing on his mind. "Well, unless any of you need help preparing for the feast I'll get out of your way. I'd rather spend time replacing items and catching up with others today but as I was said I would wait here, here at the meadhall I must wait.. but, I dont think I'll the best of company at present and I dont want to cause any foolish arguments."

Algared withdraws and and finally asks Jabor if he has any tasks he can assit with around the meadhall, Algared hopes working will at least stop him mopping and worrying.

When Barak finishes checking his gear [GM: as before: Any need replacing?] he packs it away.

Then he says: "Sounds like I am off to clothier in Orebro. Anyone want to accompany me? Do you need anything Jabor?"

He will then pick up his kit and head for the door, and the trek out to Orebro.

Deciding no one else fancies the muddy trek to Orebro, Barak sets off on his own.

Bryndis will accompany Barak to Orebro, if not to buy at least for companionship.

Time: Beginning 3rd watch

With everyone having broken their morning fast and settled on a course of action for themselves the warband breaks up, Algared leaves his companions to the hall and takes to the woods, Bjarni has grabbed a few things from his pack and headed off, a piece of cloth held in his hand. Barak and Bryndis both decide to head to Orebro in search of a clothier.

Borygg relaxes by the fire in the meadhall as he slowly and carefully goes about cleaning and repairing his gear. Surprisingly there is nothing that needs to be replaced and a few small items need repairing, his cloth cap has torn a few stitches which are easily fixed, other small items show signs of wear and tear, they can be repaired without fuss. Borygg then settles down to clean his gear, the mud and dirt of the last few days have left their mark.

Both Borygg and Svardkell chat quietly as they both go about sorting through their gear.

Svardkell takes his time going through his gear ensuring that all is in good working order. Unlike Borygg's gear though Svardkell's does not show the immediate signs of wear and tear, apart from a dull blade or slightly torn gambeson which are all easily fixed.

While Borygg and Svardkell are working away and chatting a young woman enters the hall, Borygg immediately recognises her as Algared sister "Where is Algared?" she asks Borygg.

Borygg will tell her that he last saw Algared leaving the hall but that he doesn't know where he was going. He will mention that he had heard Algared asking Jabor if there were any tasks he could do around the hall, so maybe he is on an errand for Jabor. He will ask if there is a message she wants to leave for her brother.

"I will see if Jabor has seen him, if you see him before I, tell him his father wants to speak with him urgently!"
